The S&P 500 climbed 16.3% to end the year at a record, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 44%, its best year since 2009. The rally has been fueled by the big growth stocks like (NASDAQ: TSLA), (NASDAQ: ZM), and other big-name companies that have dominated the headlines this year. In the US, every major index ETF was up at least 3%, every sector was positive, and every international ETF finished in the green. They are also fighting new drug price cutting rules from the Trump administration, which would reduce the industry’s profitability.
